Check serve size, declared nutrients and whether nutrition or health-style claims are ready to support. Use the Nutrition Panel Generator to build the panel itself.

Answer Yes, No, N/A, or Not sure – I need some help. Use Add note only when you need to explain something.

    1. Nutrition information panel

1.1 A nutrition information panel is required for this food as it will be sold in New Zealand (or I have a valid reason it is not)

1.2 Serve size is realistic for how people eat or use the food

1.3 The mandatory nutrients that apply to this panel are declared

1.4 Units, per serve and per 100 g/mL columns match how the food is sold

1.5 The numbers I will print match the analysis or calculation I hold

    2. Claims readiness

2.1 The label or advertising will make a nutrition content, health, or related claim

2.2 If claims will be made, I hold the evidence the claim rules require

2.3 There is a dispute, or a gap, between analytical results and calculated values

2.4 If vitamins or minerals are declared or claimed, the amounts are supported and legal for this food type

Claims disputes and analytical-versus-calculated gaps are a good reason to pause and get a review — help@mockrecalls.co.nz.

Need a hand with this one? Choosing “Not sure” or flagging a gap does not fail the product — it means a person should look at it before you rely on the record.

Email help@mockrecalls.co.nz and we can review this with you. Completing the form still emails you a summary to keep.
